As a wedding photographer in Las Vegas, I am always excited to discover new places where our couple’s are getting married.
Szilvia & Ray’s World Market Center Wedding was very unique, the first wedding at the World Market Center Building A Atrium.
The first image is one of my favorites, when Szilvia came down on the escalator.
I always recall the feeling, when Szilvia, the sophisticated bride came down with the escalator and stopped at the middle, all the eyes looked up at her and everybody started to clap, than she continued her way down to meet her mom, who walked her down the isle. I had goosbumps when I experienced all of this love.
They had such a great party on the reception! Almost everybody was on the dance floor.
The start… the story how the universe brought you together? The Proposal…
Why did you pick World Market Center to get married?…
with Szilvia’s words:
“Ray and I met a few years ago at a mutual friend’s house. He immediate took a liking to me, but I wanted nothing to do with him, at the time. About 2 years after that, he started working at my job, and I was the one to train him his first day. We got to talking, and realized we had more in common with each other, than anyone we have ever met before. We were only friends for a few months, but inevitably, we fell in love. After only a few months of dating, Ray had to deploy overseas for almost 5 months for his new job. But while we were apart, we realized we want to be together for the rest of our lives. While he was away, Ray planned a week long vacation for the week that he would come home, along with a surprise engagement. We had already talked about the plans for our wedding, but we weren’t technically engaged yet, until he proposed April 6th 2012 on the beach in Santa Monica. From then on, with the support of our families, we planned our wedding, which took place September 8th 2012, at World Market Center. We found our venue on TheKnot.com website, and we fell in love with the architecture of the buildings. It was everything we hoped for.
People always talk about the wedding, and how they can’t wait for the big celebration… But I think for us, being married is what made it the best day of our lives.”
